Our Fave Ways to Use Alpaca Combination Bumps in Fiber Art Projects

Alpaca is the new cuddly buddy in our combination bumps. With many thanks to our super fiber friend, Kimberley, on Instagram @berleywool we are sharing her take on creating with our latest Alpaca/CVM/Romney combo.

Enjoy!

1

The 4 oz test bump included 1.5 oz of naturally hand dyed Romeldale CVM top, 1.5 oz of Romney roving and 1 oz of alpaca roving. The design for this hat project is by BerleyWool.
It makes 2 hats.

2

Kimberley spun the top and the rovings into 4 beautiful little skeins. Left to right alpaca, Romney, Romeldale CVM and a blend of all three.

3

I love how Kimberley made the most of this colorway and the features of each fiber with her design. From bottom to top in a repeating pattern: alpaca, Romeldale CVM, blend and Romney.

This hat is super cute and feels simply dreamy. I'll be wearing mine as soon as the weather cools!

such a fun project to get my creativity going
